The PMG Works on Metal RFID label was specially designed for direct connection of
RFID technology to metallic surfaces. Conventional
RFID tags often do not work reliably on metal because metal reflects or shields electromagnetic signals, greatly limiting the reading range.
Our specially developed label has an optimised layer structure that compensates for these effects and enables stable, reliable communication.
The label can be flexibly integrated into various products to optimise their tracking and identification. It can be easily integrated into your existing
RFID system and enables asset tracking of metal plates, metal pipes, dollies, reusable metal goods and containers. The integrated RFID chip stores relevant data and enables fast, contactless transmission in an innovative way.

Permanent connection to the base carrier thanks to PMG Works on Metal RFID labels
Reliable function on metal surfaces – specially developed to neutralise shielding effects caused by metal – without additional spacers or carriers.
Robust and resistant – Thanks to the PET carrier material and a strong adhesive, the label can withstand extreme temperatures, moisture, UV radiation, chemicals and mechanical abrasion. This ensures a permanent connection to the base carrier.
Extremely flat design (1 mm) – this gives the label excellent adhesion properties on curved and irregularly shaped surfaces.
Up to 5 m reading range on metal - In conjunction with a
2-watt ERP RFID reader, reliable detection is possible over long distances (up to 5 m) despite the low-profile design.
Compatible with common RFID systems - Equipped with a
UHF chip (EPC Class 1 Gen 2) as standard. Other
chip types
are of course available on request.
