Extremely secure to attach, extremely durable in use, and extremely effective on metal and highly dielectric materials—these are the hallmarks of the PMG IronPerform RFID label from Plöckl Media Group.
The special label, optimized for metallic surfaces with an integrated UHF inlay (ETSI frequency band from 856 MHz to 960 MHz), can be reliably read over ranges of up to approximately 20 meters. Designed with passive technology – i.e., without an integrated battery – they are able to communicate with suitable stationary or mobile RFID antennas at any time.
This allows metal objects to be identified permanently and reliably without a visual line of sight – both in a company's intralogistics and in its supply chain.
Resistance to a wide range of requirements in industrial environments
The impact- and scratch-resistant PMG IronPerform RFID labels are designed for demanding environmental conditions. A permanent, high-performance acrylic-based adhesive ensures secure and permanent adhesion to metal. The labels can be used in a temperature range from –40°C to +85°C. Their material, surface, and printed individual markings, logos, and text are resistant to chemicals, cleaning agents, solvents, and UV radiation. In addition, electrostatic or electromagnetic interference has less of an impact on reliable RFID performance.
